I bought this along with a Eaching DVR for FPV video recording. I just wanted a cheap little screen so I could see the DVR output, manage settings and see status icons when needed. This is more than enough for the task at hand. Right out of the box it left a lot to be desired. For my purpose I'm sure that's fine, but for my needs I didn't want the bracket hanging down at the back. I opened the case and removed this bracket. This was easy to do and took about 5 minutes. There I also remove the LCD screen from the front to remove the film stuck to the front. The screen comes with a film to prevent scratches, but all the edges are behind a plastic frame so you can't remove it without taking the thing apart. This is the ONLY reason I took a star off the perfect rating. In truth, I very much doubt you'll find such a useful small screen for less money, especially with Prime! I chopped mine a bit, soldered the wire so the input went to my dashcam and the output went to the driver board. I also powered the 5V regulator that powers my recorder, which I simply taped to the back of the display case. It's a neat, compact little recorder that works well. At this price I don't mind risking cracking it, if I screw up I'll just get another one. lol Even if it works fine I can always get another one as a spare, those little displays would come in handy for a lot of things I'm sure.
