Easily connects to pipes, fittings and accessories
I used this on the cold water side of a washing machine water supply line. Easy to connect and function as needed, absorbing sudden pressure drops in water lines due to washing machine and sprinkler valves abruptly shutting off the water. The water supply to the washing machines is left open at all times, so a hammer protects all cold water pressure lines throughout the house. This is a must for PVC pressure pipe in a sprinkler system to prevent leaks.
