It does modify picture

I didn't use it myself. I gave this as a Christmas stocking gift. I didn't know what to expect. She attached it and took some pictures but she wasn't too impressed. It did widen the angle but not by much. I think she was expecting a more dramatic result. For me, it fulfilled it's purpose, it filled the stocking.
