Review on Mogobe Replacement Projector Lamp with Housing for VPL-HW45ES VPL-HW65ES - LMP-H210 by Robert Lemons

Revainrating 5 out of 5

First impression: Great for the price

Update: 03/09/2020: So after more than 2 years of use we are starting to notice that the bulb is a slow dimmer will. We use this projector as our everyday "TV", so I would say the lamp has a minimum of 2000 hours and up to 2500 hours of use. Very happy with this life at this price and will be ordering another bulb now. Still 5 stars, no complaints, highly recommended. Update: 12/07/2017: After a few weeks of use, I'm pretty sure it's a bit darker than the original OEM. The difference is not significant enough to change the review or my opinion that this is a great lamp for the price. Installed the lamp today. Fit perfectly, assembly was easy. If you're looking for replacement bulbs, you should know that this isn't a Sony OEM, given the price. Unlike some replacement bulbs, this is not a Philips bulb, which is reflected in the price. The body is identical to the OEM except for the Sony logo, except for the markings. The lamp is unmarked while the OEM is clearly marked Philips. One area that bothered me is that the OEM bulb is clearly marked as 150W, while this bulb has no wattage. Other than that, I don't notice a significant difference in brightness, so that's either 150W too, or I just don't notice any difference. Overall for $76 easily 5 stars. At the moment I have the noble intention of updating this review after a few hours of work with the lamp, but will it ever happen. Who knows. Some pictures are included, OEM is on the left. I even compared weights for some strange, unknown reason. OEM was 2 grams less.
