Review on ๐Ÿงฝ Organic Non-Scratch Reusable Kitchen Sponges - Unsponge Natural, Pack of 4 - Washable & Zero Waste Sponge for Dishes by Summer Hendricks

I can't recommend it for 5 reasons.

Hello. Received as a gift for eco-cleaning. Mainly to replace the weekly dishwashing sponge. I've been using it for 1 month and have posted pictures of a new sponge (I planned ahead knowing I wanted to leave a review) alongside a sponge that has been washed 4 or 5 times. A few problems were found: 1) The washed sponge looks very torn and the seams are torn. Looks unattractive and rude. The question arises: should a dish sponge be beautiful? Probably not, but I want the kitchen to look clean and this item doesn't look "clean". If I were to visit someone washing dishes with this sponge, I wouldn't dare believe the dishes were clean. I have washed them more often with extra detergent, water and electricity. This is a tiny sponge - what does it matter that it needs to be washed more often? YUP! The environment needs all the help it can get! :) 2) I'm almost certain that one layer of fabric will fall off completely soon. 3) I like the idea of green living and I want to contribute to the preservation of the environment. When washing dishes with this sponge, the dishwashing liquid seems to be deeply absorbed into the sponge and the soap does not get on the dishes. A plus. I use more dish soap when using this sponge than I do with a washable washcloth (still kind to the environment!) 4) After the highest spin possible, it doesn't fully dry between washes (about 12 hours). I feel uncomfortable using an item that has been wet/wet all day. The look is disgusting. 5) You start smelling after 2 days! See #1. Not recommended unless laundered after each use. will i return I have 1 day to decide. If they allow foam I could use it in the shower though. all questions above. I think I've made my decision. Come back. Sad face. I like the idea.
