Two cancellations within two weeks = nonsense!

I've always been a big fan of INATECK products----until now. If the two I bought were my first INATECK purchases I wouldn't try any of their other items. .I have two of these; and before I could get them to work I was busy doing other things; When I had a chance to test them, they each worked fine for about a week and then started constantly connecting to the computer and then losing signal. Of course, by then my return window had closed, so I was stuck with this useless stuff. I know that INATECK can do much better. I've had several of their all-metal 3.5" cases over the years and they've always performed flawlessly, so well I don't even consider any other make/model. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00UAA4J6G/?coliid=I2Q83AV0Y053CF&colid=2HTHML8MEBOQW&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it I have their Dual Hard Drive Bay Dock, I use it almost every day and it always works great. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XYL599P/?coliid=I1RB7U8EGKADIC&colid=MDUX41NCT3A8&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it Another major downside of these 2.5 inch plastic cases, it's my fault for not reading the description more carefully , they are NOT self-powered but rely on a USB connection for power. theirs = a definite no-no for a mechanical hard drive. To overcome this shortcoming, I used a cable with two USB connectors, one of which is dedicated to power only and plugged into a separate USB power adapter. Despite my best efforts, however, neither corps lasted more than a week. Testing all other components involved will show that the problem is definitely in the cases. If you were considering these and asking me prior to my recent experience, I would have no hesitation in recommending them solely based on my past experience with anything INATECK; But I think now, like all other electronics vendors, they are not immune to occasionally marketing a faulty product.

Pros
  • computers and accessories
Cons
  • boring packaging
