I was expecting the case to be metal to dissipate heat through conduction, when it's just a plastic case with a metal grille on top. It's still better than a plastic case with no vents, but not by much. Also, I don't think the metal grille on top is worth the 30% premium. In this case I installed a Samsung 860 EVO 1TB drive and it works fine although I haven't run a throughput test. Installation went well, but even with the instructions, it was a bit difficult to figure out how the pieces slide together. Cheap plastic didn't help, I was afraid to break it.
