Yes it works I think but not quite - bad wiring

Works, but not for long. As others have said, it doesn't support much weight. If you use it with Par38 type LED hideaway light, it can't support incandescent bulb. Save money and buy a free cord socket and ridge wire. The light also has an open lip wiring harness with crimped screw terminals which is unsafe in the event of carelessness - the wires can very easily be pulled out and exposed to mains voltage.

Pros

The clamp has really good strong pressure and the gooseneck is quite strong and supportive. The neck is flexible so you can rotate it 360 degrees to find the perfect angle. Pleasant to the touch switch button
