I bought my first dive watch, a Seiko mechanical, in 1974 with a basic Coast Guard set for $80. I've had a dive watch ever since, apart from a brief play with one of those beeping MF Casio digital watches. Kamasu is my third east. The first, Shark or Mako, one or the other was hit by a fall and the day/date window frame flew to the side. I replaced it with something that wasn't in the first one. Everything was very accurate and the only complaint was the lume. Not with Kamasu; It has one of the best lumens I've seen. 6 stars. I carry different knives at different times for different purposes, but my watch is my watch. I don't change it, it's an EDC tool. This watch ticks all the boxes for me and I can't think of a scenario where I would want to "upgrade".
