These drill bits worked great when I was trying to drill through a piece of stoneware. Just be forewarned that if you want to use the largest bit you need to work up to it with all of the previous bits. Skipping even one greatly increases the time that it will take and also increases the possibility of blowout on the piece. I would love to see a version without the wax in the middle of the bit as it makes it much harder to drill large holes. If you are starting on a smooth surface make sure to approach with the bit at an angle or else it will travel along your workpiece. Also, make sure to have a small bowl of water nearby to rinse the bits as they gum up quickly during use. Overall, there is definitely a sharp learning curve to using these drill bits but they work great once you understand how to use them correctly.
