The device is finicky about buttons and menu options. I had a hard time getting him to answer. The buttons are certainly of poor quality, which causes problems when choosing safely. The general build quality is sufficient for an occasional leak test, but nothing more. Mine worked pretty well for 5 minutes and then a constant zero PPM on the measurements. After resetting various menu settings, the device stopped working afterwards. I think a simple gooseneck bend might have loosened some of the wires between the sensor and the board. Talks about the lower quality of the device. OK. Let's go back to Raven. I haven't decided yet whether I'll buy a replacement and try again. Probably no. Quality and reliability are paramount when it comes to tools and when it comes to the potential danger associated with a gas leak I don't want to deal with that level of uncertainty.
