1. Plug the Peanut into a power outlet.2. Add a new device in the ST app. By default, it appears as "Thing". (Feel free to rename it).3. After adding, log into the ST IDE from your computer (search for Smartthings IDE)4. Sign in with your Samsung or ST5 account. Go to Places6. Click on the name of your Hub7. Click on "Device Listβ8. Scroll down and click on the peanut shop you just added (depending on how you renamed it in step 2)9. Click Edit10. If necessary, rename Label11. Change "Typeβ to "ZigBee Switchβ12. If necessary, change the "Group"13. Click Update14. In the ST app, return to your phone, refresh the page and check your outlet. You should now see that your outlet has an on/off switch (see photo). Overall I'm happy with this outlet once set up, especially considering the cost compared to others. . Even works with Google Assistant and Home Hub via ST integration if you already have them connected.
