These are the best coloring books for kids I have ever used. The paper is good quality and thick enough not to drip onto the next page with every marker my eight year old granddaughter and I used. We used a completely open notebook so we could sit next to each other on the couch, each with their own page, and do drawing tasks. The ring binding allows the pages to lie flat. Pages are easy to remove. for drawings in the fridge, or to tidy up your notebook and keep your best work as an album when it's full. I cannot stress enough the quality of these notebooks, both in terms of thickness and versatility when working with mixed media. Notepads are not only for children, I also like to use them for my own hobby work.
