Do not recommend this product. This is not an "underwater crystal glass lamp". Bought in mid-May, failed at the end of June, see photos. Bought to replace existing LED lights for a 20 gallon aquarium. When first purchased the light was bright and the suction cup held the light securely on the aquarium lid. The light has not been submerged in water, it just failed, only the first three LEDs work as you can see in the picture. RE: You only turn it on when it's submerged. The heating wire should burst.
