I rarely get it to work.

As a paying customer, I am extremely disgusted with this monitor. I received this monitor and opened it up to set it up. I connect it to my computer with an HDMI cable and I am not getting the signal that the monitor is showing. So, like everyone else, I check the input menu. At least that's what I wanted to do, like for some silly reason, instead of letting me try to figure out the problem. It puts it in "sleep mode" and does NOT let me open a menu so I can figure out the problem. So I go and read the manual, I do exactly what it says for HDMI and of course it doesn't really do anything. So of course, as I said, I made sure my PowerColor Red Dragon Radeon Rx 560GB GPU has an HDMI port. And then I thought, wait! Of course it's soldered to it, so why am I having this problem? I don't know, I got it working with VGA which I wanted to use again. Because I've been trying to use HDMI 1 more time and now every time I select the VGA option (when the input menu comes up, which happens about 1 time every 32 times I turn it on and off) and when I Selecting VGA instead of selecting it closes the menu. And continues to use HDMI instead of switching as I said. And of course I'm not just stupid and think the close button is a select button. Because the screen goes black like it's switching and then it's like 'oh wait I don't like you so let's go back to a broken HDMI'. so i gave it up now. I am extremely upset because I paid for this item and what do I get as a buyer? I am sitting at my monitor staring at a black screen trying to get it to work for 3 hours. This is utter backwardness and I will not lie. It looked really good when it worked for me, it actually REALLY looked good and there was no reflection so the sun didn't ruin the view on my screen, but other than that it wasn't worth the hassle.

Pros
  • It is finished
Cons
  • Poorly designed menu
