This mic is great for anyone just getting started with podcasting, voiceovers, music, gaming and you name it! Its design is very simple and linear, it is an elegant black microphone that comes with an adjustable base and does not take up much space. I've used this mic before when I wanted to quickly capture a vocal idea without opening a DAW program (I just open a voice recording app in Windows), and the sound quality is surprisingly clear for what seems like a very basic mic. The sound quality is very flat and direct. So if you're using it for podcasts or music, you'll have to do a little more work to get the vocals right in your mix compared to a more professional mic like the MXR or Yeti mics. The only issue I had with this mic was that I couldn't get it to work without the included USB sound card.
