Review on 🍽️ Premium Food Grinder Attachment (2 piece set), Designed for KitchenAid Stand Mixers - Chef’sChoice 796, Silver by Sherry Esco

I gave this 3 stars because I just didn't feel this appliance was as versatile as I was hoping or expecting from Chef's Choice. I bought it because it was metal and I expected it to be strong. However, it's really only sold as a meat grinder, and if you want to use it to stuff sausages, you'll have trouble finding the right 'bait' and using it as such. I've had a hard time finding metal/stainless steel stuffing tubes for this and it needs a plate to hold the front end of the screw in place for the meat to enter the stuffing tubes. Kitchen Aide has a small plastic support that attaches to the grinder, but this attachment does not fit Chef's Choice because it has a different key. I ordered #12 metal filled tubing (I think this chef's choice is #5) and used a bench grinder to grind down the rear flange to match this unit. I just ordered a new stuffing plate with large clearance holes to allow the meat to easily enter the stuffing tubes. My whole experience was that I had to turn this device "MacGyver" into something I could use. It would be nice if there were accessories for it.
