Initial Review November 11, 2020I've begun to use these little lights in certain situations. It can be used for vlogging simply by mounting it on a camera hot shoe. They provide enough light, especially if I use more than one of them, to take photos where the light is close to the subject. It is good to have control over the light color but this light only offers control over the brightness.The marketing material on the box says Color Temperature 5500K +/- 200 which should be fine for most situations.The battery is supposed to last two hours on maximum brightness which I didn't test. If that is true it will certainly be enough for a full day use when switching it off when not actually in use.Having a built in battery is a mixed blessing. On one hand they tend to have a higher storage capacity than AA batteries that might be designed in other lights. On the other hand lithium batteries lose their capacity over time and when they get too old you can't replace them. I prefer replaceable batteries because I can easily carry spares, and I use only rechargeable batteries (usually eneloop) in our home.I have both the version with the 2000mah battery and the one that takes two AA batteries. I began a test with fully charged batteries with both lights at full brightness. The 2000mAh light lasted more than 4 hours and the one with AA batteries lasted 134 minutes(2 hours 14 minutes). The thing is I can simply replace the AA batteries and continue to use that light. But the 2000mAh light has to be recharged before I can use it again.The price is very attractive at under $18 for this light.I recommend this light.
