Serves many purposes!
I ordered it as a present for my daughter. the lighting in her apartment is inadequate.2. She also needed bright light to apply makeup and take selfies. This is perfect for her! It only took a few minutes to set up and it doesn't get too warm even after prolonged use. The height is adjustable and it is very easy to use. A great flashlight for the price that I can definitely recommend!
