I bought these cables to connect two solar panels to my Goal Zero 1000. Along with this purchase I had to purchase some Anderson PowerPole 45 amp plugs and a matching crimping tool for the plugs. I also wrapped the two cables in a mesh sleeve to keep them together and easy to manage. The cable seems sufficient, but I was expecting a lot more flexibility. Copper is indeed very thick and finely twisted. Plugs are tight but work. When I first tried to connect them to my panels I didn't think the connectors would snap. With some effort I managed to block them. Pros: Pretty cables with pre-plugged connectors on one end that are the correct gender for my panels. Cons: * hard cable (not a big issue, but makes it a bit awkward to install). Putting on a cable jacket just got a lot easier.* Tight connections. It could be good. As tight as they are, they are difficult to snap into your bezel slots. They closed, but this took some effort and raised concerns that they might break when connected to them.
