Good budget DAC/amplifier with microphone

I'm sure the negative reviews for this product come from people who don't understand how to use the device. When you connect the amplifier, the drivers will be installed automatically and two audio devices will be created in Windows: 1. Playing with the HyperX2 amplifier. HyperX Amp Chat The Windows Sound Control Panel should default to the HyperX Gaming Device under the Playback tab. The HyperX chat device should be set by default under Recording Devices. When I first plugged it in, the chat device was set as the default playback device, and it sounds completely screwed up. I think most if not all of the bad reviews are from people who didn't get it. Once playback is set up on the gaming device, everything is fine. The amp's sound quality is comparable to my $100 Schit Fulla 2 DAC/amp. The improvement from here to the Fulla 2 is small, maybe a little more width and definition, but most people probably won't even notice. The amp also has decent power, capable of driving my HD 58X which work great at 150 ohms. I aim for peaks around 70dB and the amp achieves that at 58X at around 55% volume. Reserve a room. For most gaming headsets (e.g. Cloud II or Alpha 60 Ohm) the amplifier is more than sufficient in terms of amplifier power. 7.1 is everything. I'm not a fan of virtual surround sound, but I'll say it's not that bad on AMP. I wouldn't buy it because of the 7.1, but to be honest, you can't expect the whole world for €30. The reason I bought this device was to have a basic audio and microphone option. The microphone has decent noise cancellation in AMP performance. I use it with vmoda Boom Pro which tends to pick up a lot of background noise and AMP greatly reduces that. The microphone also sounds pretty good during playback. For $30 this device is 5 stars. It's decently made and works as advertised, and the sound quality and performance are somewhat on par with other $100-plus DACs/amps.
