I read hundreds of reviews in the months before deciding to buy and although we didn't expect an immediate change (because for the good bacteria that make our waste for breeding in a big tank) , within a few days we noticed a significant reduction in the smell entering the house when washing or being outdoors near the tank. However, our septic tank is in bad shape even after pumping out because our main pipe has a sharp angle (tens of thousands of dollars in repairs) and we have so much rain/we come down from the neighborhood and the street, so there's a lot of water that flows near the cap riser, so it'll probably take a while before you notice the difference unless you're really struggling. We're going to wait a month and do another treatment just to promote a healthier septic system in the long term because we're terrible at it, but we're already thrilled with the results!
