Review on Dorman Cable Stop 03339 by Joseph Long

The throttle cable for my old garden tractor is designed so you pull it out and turn it clockwise to fix the rpm. The plastic grip on the throttle cable has torn off in the plastic grip. I bought a replacement cable from the dealer but the time didn't come and the handle came loose. I used a small pair of vises but they were too bulky. I cut the plastic handle off the end of the cable and installed one of these in its place. I had to drill an extra hole in the cable stop to fit the end of the throttle cable, but it works well and is very convenient for my 50 year old garden tractor.
