Review on Jebao OW-25 Wavemaker - 185-2245 GPH Pump with Controller and Magnet Mount, Black by Chris Worlds

Jebao is not a quality product and you should be aware of it. They claim to update their products every year or so and you will hear claims of any improvements. With previous models you will find that the initial estimates were always good, but after 8-12 months they fall off sharply. Then a new model comes along claiming an improvement, and the cycle starts all over again. My first Jebao lasted almost 10 months a day so I ordered this "new and improved" model. Jebao claims it has a more powerful motor, but to be honest it's more likely they just increased the current they put into it. This device has a slightly different shape than my previous one, and like the last one, it works right out of the box. But I really don't expect this model to be any better than previous models and anyone who buys it should consider it a bonus if it lasts a full year. The fact that Jebao doesn't guarantee their product for at least a year sums up the quality pretty well.
