Not the best for spaghetti, but other pasta won't fall through the holes.
Fits in my small saucepan and stays there with a flat bottom. The hook on the handle goes to the edge of the pot for stability. Dry spaghetti falls through the holes, but other pasta stays inside. After the spaghetti is cooked, most of it stays in.
