Why didn't I get one like this before!? It's MUCH easier to cook ANY pasta with it. Not just ramen, cook any pasta in it. Makes draining much easier without worrying about spilled water.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. It is much easier to put this insert in a pot of water and strain the noodles. It's a shame I didn't buy something like this a long time ago. Most restaurants use such devices for quick reheating and portion control.

I bought this to cook pasta and it's not the right tool for me. The holes allow spaghetti and bucatini pasta to fall through the holes. To do this, you need a deep pot. I rated the product highly because it is well made and durable and I will find a use for it.

I had no idea how big it was but it's a well made product. I just wish it was a few inches smaller. Otherwise I have two of these and I don't know what to do with them because they are so huge. I could use them as fry baskets. LAUGH OUT LOUD

Fits in my small saucepan and stays there with a flat bottom. The hook on the handle goes to the edge of the pot for stability. Dry spaghetti falls through the holes, but other pasta stays inside. After the spaghetti is cooked, most of it stays in.

Seems sturdy and big enough for my largest pot. I just received this and we made homemade ravioli out of it. It was a lot easier to load up a basket and pull them out than it was to fish out noodles. I love that I can use this basket instead of another pot with a pasta basket.

Bought to improve my wok game. Many restaurants blanch chicken pieces before adding them to a pan. It helps with flavor and texture. This tool also helps with sautéing vegetables, cooking/reheating pasta, boiling eggs, etc. Many uses! I'm glad I bought it. Very durable and unbeatable at this price.

When I bought this I honestly didn't think it would work for my purpose but thought I'd give it a try anyway. I wanted to be able to fit a full 12 ounces. a bag of egg noodles so I don't have to carry a large pot of hot boiling water to the sink to drain. I was pleasantly surprised that the noodles actually fit in this colander, which at first glance seemed too small.
