Anker worked really hard to fix this issue with me and I believe this is my issue with Surface Pro 5. The device works great with all of mine other laptops and has great speeds. I bought it for the ethernet port because the Surface Pro doesn't have one and also the design was well thought out because it also included a 3-port USB hub, which is also useful as the Surface Pro lacks in that area . Because of the design and all the help Anker tried to give me and their quick response to get my money back I'm upgrading my 1 star rating to a 4 star rating. I am disappointed in this product. I bought it for my Surface Pro so I can connect it for higher speeds. There was an error. I have a 1GB wired internet plan and I usually get around 300Mbps wirelessly, but when I turn on Anker I can barely get 62Mbps. I've tried different cables, Anker drivers, different ports on the router and nothing. Still slower than WiFi. I gave it 1 star because I will be leaving it for a 3 port hub as my surface pro only has one. If I had known the ethernet connection was so slow, I would have bought a different USB hub. I do not recommend it and will not buy it again.
