    Perfect for Microsoft Surface Pro 3 users

    This product is perfect for me as a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 user. I only have 1 onboard USB port and no Ethernet port. I bought this lovely Anker product and got tired of plugging in 2 USB sticks both 3.0 USB and copying a 4GB file from one to the other and the speed was perfect.     Works great, plug and play, with Surface Pro 4 - Windows 10

    Ok I am very impressed with this product. I've always respected the Anker brand for things like portable batteries and their quality powerline + USB cables. But I can add network adapters and USB hubs to this list.     Great customer service

    Unfortunately, this does not work well when USB devices are connected to ensure stable data transfer. This affects the network connection. And now the network keeps disconnecting briefly, even when there is no data transfer. I switched to a different USB network key and the problems went away, so it's definitely a problem with that.     Buy with Confidence - the Best Customer Service in Computer Peripherals!

    I have other Anker products and they are all great but on this one the USB cable that came with it is starting to fail after 13 months of use - just sitting here at my desk at work. Loses connection regularly. At first I thought something was wrong with my MacBook Air's USB port, so I tried connecting other peripherals, but they were fine with that particular USB port.     Anker worked really hard to fix this issue with me and I believe this is my issue with Surface Pro 5. The device works great with all of mine other laptops and has great speeds.     Like the detachable cable, it works out of the box in Win 10, not so obviously in Win 7, but seems normal once you get the hang of it.

    I have a new Dell laptop with no ethernet port and was thinking of getting one of these USB to ethernet gadgets but saw it for just a few bucks more and went for it because it I like the idea of getting USB 3 ports as I have a laptop that only has a regular USB 3 port.     Excellent performance but there is a small issue with the firmware.

    available For testing purposes in this test I connected 2 PCs to a gigabit switch. PC1 used an Intel I219-V Ethernet adapter while PC2 used an Anker3 port USB hub + Ethernet adapter.     Lost connection to ethernet port - had to disconnect and reconnect USB to fix

    Notes (now that Revain has ruined so many people's work by deleting comments after reviews): 1. The commenter suggested that I should have just unplugged it first and plugged the USB port back in. Not true. This will cause you to lose all forensic data.
