This PERFECT size rug can replace the homemade ironing board on the small wooden TV stand I use next to my sewing machine. It is almost the same size as the countertop. I like how the wool material holds the stitches, especially when using steam or spray. It just seems like the abs hold up way better than they do on a standard ironing board. I have to admit that it's also a handy temporary pincushion while you work. It can be used on either side and I expect it to last for years.
