Pros: Well designed, comfortable, easy to recline, strong and well built. There is an obvious difference between this and the $300 chair, despite what some other reviewers claim. Cons: The aluminum base arrived with scratches and dents, the chair began to squeak loudly after about 10 days, the headrest upholstery is noticeably warped. based on the issues i had with the box but the chair is comfortable and i would definitely keep it. Please note that I left a similar review on the x-chair website and despite accepting it, it was not published. X-Chair seems to select reviews to post. UPDATE: I sent the chair back but it took 3 weeks from receipt to get a refund. In fact X-Chair was unable to get it through the receiving process at the time and I had to resort to my very first Paypal dispute to get a refund which X-Chair agreed to. X-Chair kept promising to return the money within 5-7 days but failed and then promised again to return the money within 5-7 days. This company is clearly a mess and would not be trusted at the level of its more well-known competitors.
