When you take this unit out of the box you can feel the plastic parts lol. and I need a hard headset as a backup. However, the first time I used it, I realized I hated it. The cable falls on the left side of the device and the microphone falls on the same side. This leads to disaster when the head is turned, since the cable can become tangled in the microphone boom. By the way, about the microphone arm and the plastic parts. the arrow doesn't stay in the stand, so it still works! but it rotates. I have to keep the mic level or it'll hit me in the face leaning from side to side lol I'll have to write that off as a failed test and spend a little more for a better backup!
