These knives are insanely sharp. I've been cooking with it for about 6 months and so far there's no sign of tarnishing or chipping (just make sure not to leave it in the sink to avoid being thrown overhead and hand wash). My mom and a friend both cut their fingers with it, obviously doing what they normally do with other knives. So be very careful! I enjoy slicing and slicing fruit and herbs because these knives get the job done very quickly. Looks great and looks very well made. A great choice if you want to improve your culinary skills!
