Review on Small Marble Mortar and Pestle Set: Solid Stone Grinder for Spices, Herbs, Pills - White by Demetrius Young

This mortar/pestle is very good. It's attractive (love the black marble look), sturdy, and the bowl and pestle are a good size and shape for the average hand. Excellent sandability and easy to clean. I would like to point out that the listing mentions Mat., which needs to be stated more clearly. This is a good rubber mat but it is not peeled off as the advert photo suggests. It is already attached to the bottom of the bowl and is therefore absolutely non-slip. I bought a porcelain mortar/pestle a few years ago. He didn't drag that well in that set, nor that easily, and recently he opened up wide due to too much pressure. This mortar and pestle, pardon the pun, is RELIABLE!
