Review on 🔪 Irwin Tools 49614 High Precision Point Drill by William Fowler

I bought these drills to drill dowel holes in a cedar frame I'm making. I found the drills reasonably priced and since they came from Irwin I wasn't concerned about the quality. In fact, it took me a lot of effort to get the 1/2" bit to cut through the cedar, and in the end I gave up trying in favor of an old Craftsman spade bit, which worked effortlessly. I made a very bad choice buying drills from Irwin. BTW, after the first few seconds of using the Irwin drill, I wondered if it would work the other way around, but it didn't.
