This switch would have been 5 stars/excellent had it kept the original physical design with screw terminals. As others have noted, this has to do with the wires needing to be secured in place, adding bulk. In my case there were other connections in my single block box and adding three more wire nuts was not possible. If this was the original design I could have just plugged the new switch into the old wires, but instead I had to disassemble everything, add larger/bulky wire nuts to accommodate the extra wires, and ended up needing a larger box. However, the Wi-Fi setup was nice and basic. Unfortunately, the downsides they've brought with this redesign outweigh the positives. I would have liked a different Gen 1 Switch but apparently they are no longer sold.
