Review on 🦎 Zoo Med Repti Heat Cable, 11.5" Length: Optimal Heat Solution for Reptiles by Elaine Williams

I bought this heating cable for the height of my leopard gecko rack. I plugged it in and it started heating up straight away, I can hold the cord in my hand and it doesn't really burn. I use large clear plastic Iris shoeboxes with pre-drilled ventilation holes and a front opening door. The bottom of the boxes is about 3/4 inch above the cable itself and heat still flows well through them. This maintains a constant and correct temperature in the baths. I highly recommend this heating cable for leopard geckos and other animals that require underfloor heating. You can also tape it to the back of the tank for some sort of warmth. Overall this product is working well so far and I am very satisfied and will be purchasing for the rest of my rack!
