For us women this is a one piece swimsuit with long sleeves and legs. Well done in Canada. The movement is quite small (of course it will be freer in the water). In warm tropical waters, it's great for rash protection and sun protection, as well as scuba skin to wear under a wetsuit. The leg loops keep it in place and also help when putting on the wetsuit, as do the thumb loops. (They're comfortable enough to keep on your thumbs, but you can also easily slip your thumbs out of the loops.) I notice that the item, as supplied, has a tortoise shell-style zipper rather than a V -shaped neckline. as shown in the picture. The stand-up collar is better for sun protection, rash protection and wearing under a wetsuit.
