I only gave 3 stars for the tightness because it did not apply with such use. My wife prepares food for our church for home delivery by adults. She asked me to find a dish that was larger than the 2 ounces she previously bought. She wanted to use soup or gravy for dessert. I made the mistake of purchasing this item even though she told me she was looking for a styrofoam container. We used them for brownies this time and they worked well. I snapped the lid off to see how it fitted and it fitted perfectly. I was concerned when trying to open it that it would break, but with effort it fell apart without breaking. Apparently it's made of poly material, which allows it to be reused. Will order foam next time to keep items hot but other than that it's a good product!
