Review on Pentax 16-45mm f/4.0 SMC PDA ED AL Zoom Lens: Compatible with Pentax and Samsung Digital SLR Cameras by Keisha Wright

Who else makes such cool lenses besides Pentax?>? I've had my eye on this lens for a long time, but after reading negative reviews I gave it up. The Generation X dealer had one for a killer price, so I had to try it. Firstly, this is not a lightweight lens, it resembles a tank. The plastic used is very high quality. The included lens hood is a nice thing, very high quality. From what I've read, you can use this lens for close-up photography, and it's true. This morning I got a beautiful closeup photo of some beautiful leaves lying on the grass. What I really like is the wide angle you get from this lens, which makes a big difference when you need it (compared to the 18-55 kit lens). The front glass element is much larger than the 18-55 kit lens (I'm writing this because a clown on another camera website said that this lens isn't much better than the kit lens)
