Although the size was accurate, this straightener didn't work. I usually test new products before packaging them; however I didn't make it. I've traveled halfway across the world with my new iron and it wouldn't even turn on. Not only was I disappointed, but my hair was a mess. I ended up throwing it away at our second hotel in Vietnam (after trying to use it again - with and without the power converter). This item was clearly defective.
