I bought this for my husband because his hair is growing back and he has very curly hair. It works great, has an on and off switch so it's pretty easy. I don't know if I would use it myself due to the unregulated temperature, but it's a great product for those with short hair or if you have stubborn little areas of your head that need straightening.

I bought this for our caravan. I researched some devices and settled on this one, still not expecting much, size and price but was pleasantly surprised. Warms well and works very well. I have fine shoulder length bob hair and it takes me minimal time to curl the ends and secure the flyaways. However, what surprised me was that our 18 year old granddaughter joined us on the hike and she really enjoyed straightening her thicker, dyed hair.

I love this mini iron. I have coarsely wavy hair and use a flat iron every morning. My hair usually responds well, but I have to use a lot of hairspray to keep it that way throughout the day. I rarely write product reviews but I was initially skeptical of this little iron. I even considered returning it when I saw how small it was because it couldn't work with my thick hair. Boy was I wrong and glad I gave it a try prior to the trip before returning it. It heats up quickly and works just as well on my thick, medium-length hair as it does on my more expensive ($100) full-size straightener! This is perfect for short hair, I'm a small medium sized unisex guy so it works for me, it works for longer hair too. I was concerned that it would not be as small as I need because advertising cannot always be trusted and I have received items from other sellers that do not match the picture, but it is exactly as advertised and what it is for i searched, thank you your company. Although the size was accurate, this straightener didn't work. I usually test new products before packaging them; however I didn't make it. I've traveled halfway across the world with my new iron and it wouldn't even turn on. Not only was I disappointed, but my hair was a mess. I ended up throwing it away at our second hotel in Vietnam (after trying to use it again - with and without the power converter). This item was clearly defective.
