Update/edit: 12-3-22I’m honestly astounded at the customer service from this company. I have worked in customer service my whole life and my review was an honest one, not expecting anything in return. But they went above and beyond and apparently I just didn’t know not to soak the silicone plates. I would and will recommend this company to all my friends.PS. We bought their reusable pouches and I have no complaints there. Amazing! I can’t wait to try again with these plates and properly care for them so they last a while. Thank you Wee Sprout. My review is going from a 3 star to a 5 but I wish I could give them a 10.Ps: I recommend purchasing WITH the lids for easier cleanup.Original review:I love look and feel of these plates. I wanted to love the actual plates and actually bought these to replace a different brand of baby plate because my babies food was always tasting like dish soap regardless of how well I rinsed the plate after washing. I use dawn dish soap, the regular blue kind. Everytime I go to have a bite of my kid’s food (he has feeding challenges and me eating off his plate encourages him to eat more) it always tastes like I’m eating soap. So same issue as the last plate.The suction works ok. It’s not that difficult for my baby to pull the plate upwards and flip over his food but it almost always is difficult for myself to remove the plate without flinging food everywhere 😂I’m not sure if it’s the silicone or why this is happening but I don’t want my kids eating soap so unfortunately I’m going to have to try another brand.
