I rated it higher than I should have based on this box. The packaging itself is beautiful. All colored pencils and felt-tip pens have been accounted for. What's great is that the colors are separate so I can just hand out the colors I need to the kids instead of looking for them in the box (which is why I bought these). Is that a good price for what you get? To be honest I don't think so since a pack of 10 markers only costs 97 cents. Again, I have to go back to the reason I'm buying them - so I presorted the colors and enough for the kids. The markers differed in that instead of a dot (which preschoolers bite off), they only had a small heel. or suck out all the ink) I had no problems with the markers - it was just a surprise. The crayons were the biggest problem. Each bag of paint was melted down. Some colors weren't as bad as others (e.g. black and brown) but you can see in the photos that most of the colors blended together and the bottom of the box was waxed (almost all the crayons were painted). ). so much wax was gone that many of the pen wrappers were very loose and some of the tips were bent. the yellow packaging had melted so badly i couldn't get it out of the box. this was disappointing - this was the reason i ordered this box and have to return it. I'm pretty sure it's not a quality issue from Crayola or even Amazons themselves, it's more like storage and shipping and the box getting too hot. I think I'll just end up going back and buying a few small boxes locally and finding a way to keep things tidy. The summer order was a mistake and I'm pretty sure the next box will probably be the same.
