I needed a palette box with a lid for an oil painting class. When this product arrived, I noticed that it was impossible to properly shut the lid because it was so poorly manufactured. I took it to my class any way and there learned that water-based oil paints don't mix well on the surface. The oily part of the paint separates from the pigment. Paint is wasted because it thickens and dries up due to the poor seal. Cleanup is frustrating. Expect stains. I am not asking for a refund because I used the product. I just want to save other people time and trouble. The old saying, "You get what you pay for" applies for this misadvertised product.
