I am not disappointed, the quality is satisfying.

This fx8300 replaced it in September 2022 and started making money right away. Installing a gigabit ga-990ha-ud3 board required updating the BIOS to version f13, which is compatible with this percentage. During stress tests and games, the same cooling system was used: a box with heat pipes salvaged from a phenom 955. It was renamed kpt-8 and installed. The AIDA64 software reports temperatures ranging from 30 degrees Celsius at idle to 50 degrees Celsius during a stress test, but it is suspected that these readings are artificially low by 5 to 10 degrees Celsius, depending on the mode of operation. It's common knowledge that the CPU thermal diode sensor is inaccurate, 13 g; at normal temperature, it weighs 25 g.

The processor is serviceable overall, but it is not without defects; nonetheless, it is quite out of date, and as such, only owners of am3+ boards will be interested in swapping out their current athlone/hair dryer/less nuclear effect model for this one as a stopgap measure before investing in a new platform, which will not come cheap.

Soon I will upgrade to socket AM4, however for now 8 GB of RAM and a 4 GB vidyuhi gefors gth1050ti are plenty.

Pros

This newer processor is superior to its predecessor, the x4 955 phenom, in the following ways: 8 streams instead of the typical 4 higher clock frequencies 3.3 GHz and self-acceleration up to 4.2 in the turbo core, against 3.2 GHz and 3.84 (stable operation during overclocking, a blue screen crashed at 4 GHz, nominal voltage 1.4V) for a phenomenon, without self-acceleration ; lower power consumption and heating 95 W vs. 125, power consumption at rest and undetected compared to 125 W; and finally, support for new instructions like fma3,4, hardware support - the increase was perceived, albeit not noticeably so.

Cons

The phenom even outperforms it in terms of performance per core, thus the single-core performance is really bad. Also, it's not ideal that just 4 real number coprocessors are available for 8 cores, one for each pair of integer cores. Although this is already picky, you may "forgive" it because it only costs $6000. Errors were left in the precipitate after the initial crisis was launched and its warhead was added, and this happens on both xp and wine 7. Other CPUs, including the socket 939-based athlone 64 3500+ and the socket AM3-based athlone x2 250 and hair dryer x4 955, did not exhibit this behavior. enjoy most games, Crisis 2 begins with a spectacular explosion; if he doesn't enjoy the original game's opening cinematic, that's not a good sign. As a result, I must reduce my rating from 5 to 4.
