It was perfect in every way. I knew the name and fair price for this 50ft model. I hated the noisy pancake air compressor sitting on one of those stacked plastic shelves in the garage. It was noisy and I had to stand on tiptoe to reach the light switch. It's time to do something about it, and I've entertained the idea for many months. I installed this spool using the three Tapcon screws I had in my parts basket. The device is supplied with three galvanized screws but no dowels. I threw the pack in a spares bin for another project. I then wall mounted an electrical box with a toggle switch and duplex socket, routed the Romex wiring in the attic to another electrical box and connected the duplex socket to that. In the middle of the wiring, I installed a third electrical wire junction box with a plug that I can plug and unplug into the nearest outlet. Switch the click test after you have connected the plug to the nearest socket. Everything works great as planned. I can barely hear the compressor running in the attic above me.
