Review on 🚦 Top-Rated NOVALITE LED Waterproof Trailer Tail Lights Kit: Submersible, Universal for Truck RV Pickup Bus Towing Vehicle - DC12V by Tom Tofte

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very easy as interchangeable spares, bright and flashy

[REVISED] I'm tired of dealing with short lived and unreliable trailer bulbs, this needs to be checked every time I hook up a trailer that doesn't see much action. How hard is it to make something that just works? So, it's time to rewire again, but this time with LEDs. The headlights are very bright, easily visible in daylight and now match the look of the rear brake and taillights on my tractors as they are also LED. All you have to do is unscrew the old headlights, pull out the wiring and run a new set of wiring harnesses along the same route. The trailer wiring harness has enough space for LED lights. Please understand that you do not have to approach the amperage as you would with incandescent lamps. The wiring harness is made from copper wire and comes with enough clamps to hold the wiring in place. I didn't use Scotlok connectors but waterproof butt joints for the final connections. Initially in this section I was talking about the silver wire coming out of the mounts themselves and that I wasn't sure about that. was copper. As you can see from the seller's comments below, they should be copper plated with tin to reduce oxidation. Since I have no way of testing this, I will correct my original statements and return the 5th star. Only years of service and exposure to the elements will tell if they will hold up, but we hope.
