We all need custom barrel connectors, and we all need USB cables (to sum it up). Sometimes you need to get 12 volt power somewhere else that should work and you have no idea what the future holds for you. This is probably for you. You get 1.) adapt your barrel connector to a weird modem or whatever 2.) get a spare USB cable (for charging only) 3.) have more barrel connector adapters for future annoying connections and hobby junk. I could see this happening in someone's ham radio or solar array, but I have a one sided mind. The price is quite reasonable, the packaging and presentation was fantastic, like a set of keg stoppers. Of course, the connection can become unstable if you twist the barrel. Also, it transferred power well, I got 750mA at the USB-C tip from a poor quality battery. Charge via USB-C tip overnight from laptop USB port 500mA full charge.
