Review on πŸ”ͺ Irwin 7-1/4-Inch Metal Cutting Circular Saw Blade: Efficient & Precise 68-Tooth (4935560) by Drew Beckett

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Does the job at a great price.

Long and short. Put this on my skilsaw worm drive (the blade has a diamond knockout). Approximately 80 cuts made through Menard Premium 28g steel roofing. Straight cuts (38 inches) were made simultaneously on four sheets. The valley cuts were made sheet by sheet. The last cut was as easy as the first. I only needed it for a job so for the price I paid it's a steal. I lost a tooth (more like a blade) somewhere along the way, but it didn't affect cutting ability. Neat edges, I hit the edges in valley cuts with rustoleum clear spray paint just to be sure (technically steel cannot be cut with a saw) As others have warned, prepare before using. Long-sleeved shirt and at least eye protection. Those little, orange slivers of steel can ruin the smell Hairy Hands If you didn't know, Menards rents roofing shears in both straight and angled versions if you're not comfortable using a circular saw.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Unfashionable
