Works as hoped. I like the 4 mounting screw holes on each side. They're supposed to fit in a 19" rack, but I wanted to mount them under my desk. So I made my own brackets and now I can slide them in and out under my desk. This is a good idea to save space. Why add clutter to the top of the table? I didn't want it permanently installed because it would be harder to get to the cables. Switches video first, then USB ports (mouse, keyboard) after about a second or two. Much faster than the Belkin USB switch it replaced. As others have pointed out, it does not have a remote control function. And I thought that after the warranty expired I would hack it and put the relay in parallel with the switches on the front panel to be able to switch it remotely. But then I found out that there is a 3 year warranty (parts and labour). Wow! Now I have to reconsider this strategy. And can you name other electronic products with such a long warranty without extra charge? They offer additional brackets for 19" racks, but it would be nice if they also offered inexpensive plastic sliding brackets. for desktop installation.
